The President of the Republic of Poland is to host a formal dinner in honour of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, who is paying an official visit. Everything must run without a hitch, so a rehearsal of the reception is essential. In the course of it a diplomatic scandal erupts. In unexplained circumstances something vanishes… What disappeared, and whether the scandal was successfully covered up, the audience of the crime comedy “The Mystery of the Royal Dinner” will discover. The plot is based on a real episode in the history of the palace at Otwock Wielki. The performance is combined with a four-course dinner served as part of the ticket. Evening dress is required!

The production was created in collaboration between Muzeum Wnętrz in Otwock Wielki, a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw, the OtwArte Foundation for the Promotion of Culture and Grupa Klimatyczna, with funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
